Learning how and when to place your gear to minimize the risk will make for a safer and more enjoyable climb.

 Trad Cleaning

Trad Cleaning is not about polishing your equipment climbing. Cleaning is referring to the removal of any equipment you placed during your climb. As important as it is to lead a route safely, it's just as important to be able to come down and remove all your gear safely. Most accidents happen on the descent, so we focus a lot on the cleaning of the route.

We also cover escaping the route when you can't finished the climb which is pretty common on projects.
Our Trad Climbing Lessons INCLUDE cleaning and escaping routes.
